1. Be impeccable with your word. 2. Don’t take anything personally.
3. Don’t make assumptions. 4. Always do your best."
With responsibility comes decision-making. The importance of decision-making, the right decision-making, has never been so apparent to me. Until today. We work together to make the right decisions, though at the end of the day who is to say whether they were the correct ones. As a leader, as the trusted voice for my team I feel that it is only fair that I act in their best interest. Though, tonight I was defeated. Defeated by my own team members who valued their own person well-being and image more than the voice of our team. As a group of 4 leaders, tonight we failed. We fell to the side that we promised we wouldn’t. I hold myself to a higher standard than that. I will not be put in a position again where the interest of my team is jeopardized and I will do everything in my power to ensure that.
Think less, feel more.
Frown less, smith more.
Talk less, listen more.
Judge less, accept more.
Watch less, do more.
Complain less, appreciate more.
Fear less, love more.
